It is also very serendipitous that Marcia offered back-up child care, since our new day care provider is closed for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and umm, those are coming up right quick.
Jewish child care provider? In which case make plans for coverage for rosh hashanah, yom kippur, passover, and possibly a couple more holidays that happen off the normal schedule

Even if she doesn't observe the high holy days and she sets her schedule based on the families she serves, kids whose families do observe the high holy days would have the kids at services rather than at daycare. But on Passover, you can work during the days, or if you're not, you're cleaning the house and cooking and shit, so you're gonna totally want the kiddos at daycare!
