Oh what a night!

Punk had a crazy day because today was Charlotte's first birthday party. (Charlotte is Punk's internet buddy in CT.) So she played around like a nut until 3pm when we dragged her out, and then she fell asleep in the car at 3:30pm. We got home at 4:15pm, so it was a short nap and she was totally exhausted, but was way overtired, overstimulated, and whenever she has a late nap it totally messes with her.

Jen tried to put her to bed around 6:45pm because she was exhausted.
At 7:15, she asked for a shift change.
At 8:15, she came back in to take over again.
At 9, Jen was frustrated because she has things to do and Punk STILL wasn't sleeping.

She screamed this really mad, shrieking scream for about 3 minutes. Then she started chatting. Usually she will chat for 10 minutes or so and then start screaming again. Which she did. But only for a few seconds and then she went back to chatting. And then... silence.

And she was quiet for 20 minutes and I thought she was dead. But no, she coughed. And then, quiet again.

Crap on a cracker, she fell asleep! (I think.) Amazing!

Hi there! Allow me to introduce myself.. I'm Kellie, mom of 4 year old Ella and 8 month old Tate..sorry I haven't done that yet.. but you know, we never get any sleep around this house either and so yeah, I can be a bit inconsiderate. :P
so yes, Tate, my 8 month old.. holy crap has he ever been a challenging sleeper. We have been going rounds trying to figure out what works for him, and so far we have nothing concrete. He will sleep through the night for a month, and then get another tooth or something, then the process starts all over again and again and again. So yeah.. let me know if you have any words of wisdom! Good luck, I hope she starts sleeping awesome for you soon!
