Here we go again. Another round of blues.
Jul. 18th, 2001 10:05 pmWell what a way to start my solo career! I had quite the intense client this afternoon. All my supervisor could do was apologize and ask me if I was okay. And I am. Sure, I fumbled, and I forgot to cover some stuff, and stuff like that, but I felt pretty good there, and I'm ready for more more more!
What I really would have liked would have been to go out to dinner with Mark and just hash out the whole experience. He's decided to switch his program from psychology, which wasn't taking him in the direction that he wanted. Go him!
Jodie's in a grumpy mood tonight and there's nothing I can do. Phooey. I did, however, manage to cheer Dulci up with Liz Phair MP3s. I rule!
I stayed up way too late getting ubergiggly with Mark. We stomped all over gender assumptions and had a grand old time.
Things are still weird with A. Very weird. Not much talking, but I am tired of pushing. I have to bring up every conversation. It puts a lot of pressure on someone. It's probably incorrect that I assume that his lack of conversation means he doesn't actively want to work on things, but I can't help it. It's starting to bother me less and less, though, because people have been so intent on boosting me up.
I survived my first solo client! And I will have two tomorrow if they show up. Wahoo! :)
