Also, apparently my uncle broke his leg pretty severely yesterday. (Or maybe the day before?) He was at work. He is a truck driver, and one day per week he drives up to New Hampshire by himself with just a cab and drives back with an empty truck. So he slipped and fell, at night, in New Hampshire, all by himself. And there was no one still working at the place where he picked up the truck. He was alone in the cold with a badly broken leg.
He called his boss and thankfully the boss got in touch with some of the employees of that place so someone could come be with him, and then his boss eventually got there and took him to a hospital. How scary is that? He could have frozen to death. What on earth did people do before cell phones?
2009 is not going to be a good health year for my family, I fear.
