Between the stuff I got at Savers last year, some gifts from Punk's first birthday (sized up), the stuff I got at Savers this year, the stuff I got at Once Upon a Child last month, the stuff I got from one of my clients (her 4 year old's hand-me-downs), Punk's Hanukkah present from Emily, the dress that Nana sent last month, the hand-me-down bathing suit from [livejournal.com profile] lorac, the stuff I got with my last round of Gymbucks, t-shirt gifts from [livejournal.com profile] tea_soaked and [livejournal.com profile] bluekniggit, and yesterday's damage at the Gymboree outlet...

Umm, let's just say my kid won't need any summer clothes any time soon. There's something like 15 sundresses, 7 or 8 skirts, 7 or so pairs of shorts, a good 25 summer shirts, and upwards of 15 pairs of lightweight pants, capris, and cropped pants. And at least 7 pairs of pajamas (mostly thanks to my client!). Not to mention some shirts from last fall that might still fit...

(Once I actually pulled it all together instead of the various boxes and bags, err, it was a bit of a lot. Whoops.)

What size is she in now?

She's in 2T and they're fitting perfectly (no room to grow). A lot of my client's hand-me-downs were 18-24 months, and I'm not sure how much of that stuff is going to fit, but since it's shorts/capris and stuff we can probably get away with it because she's thin enough (they'll just be a little shorter).

I imagine that next winter's clothes will be 3T. Woah.

*snickers* My lil wide-load (bone structure, not fat) is in 2t as well for the most part! She fits fine in 18-24 but anything new I'm buying is 2T. Even some of those I have trouble pulling over her big noggin! It's alllll brains, man. ;)

HA! My kid has a pretty small head and small feet. She's long and lean, unlike her mama. ;)

It just seems like the difference from 2T to 3T is staggering. 2T is something like 33-36" and 3T is 36-39". Punk is just under 36" but I can't imagine her in 3T AT ALL. She is too little! She's just a baby!!!

I think some of the 24 month capris will look cute on her this summer as bermuda shorts. :)

I honestly have no clue how tall Kendra is. I need to call and make her 15 month appointment tomorrow. Lots of doc visits this month! I've already had 2, I have one Tuesday and my nuchal u/s Friday, she's got to have her 15 month AND her 6 month checkup on her eyethis month and then I have another prenatal on the 28th!!!!

I'm guessing that unless K really shoots up, which is unlikely given her parents, she'll be wearing a lot of hemmed 3T stuff before terribly long. It's crazy.

Btw, Randy had to have Meep put down this afternoon. We're all heartbroken. :(

Oh, that's really sad! Please pass along my sympathies to him! Poor Meep! :(

Will do. Apparently when he got up today she was acting like she'd had a stroke, so he took her in, and they ran a bunch of tests and apparently she had cancer in her spleen. :( She was such a great kitty!!!

If you want any 3T stuff, I have a ton of J's outgrown stuff (nice stuff from Gap, Gymboree, etc. plus PJs and god knows what else). I could sort through what is more "girly" but sorry, no dresses here!

No need to sort, except for anything that might say "Daddy's pal" or something. :) Right now we're firmly in the 2T camp but we'll gladly take anything you want to pass down!

Also, we really need to see you guys sometime. Hopefully this spring/summer. It's been far too long.

that's quite a collection! we have as much as will fit in his drawers (1 for pants/pjs, one for shirts, one for socks/undershirts, diaper covers, etc.) That ends up to be enough for about a week (including leaking through some pants...).
Zach's tall enough for 3T, and 3T shirts fit him pretty well, but he's skinny, so the pants only stay on because of the bulk of the cloth diapers. In disposables, he has to wear overalls, or his pants falls down. I'm thinking summertime he'll be in 2T shorts and 3T shirts. Then back to 3T for long pants.
Clothes are so fun and cute. We just got the rest of our stash at the local huge consignment sale. I think we spent $30. It was awesome.
