You put her in the cutest clothes. I love having a boy for a variety of reasons, but one thing I really feel like I missed out on is having fun with clothes. Stuff for boys is really pretty limited (at least in my price range) - it seems like it's all transportation themed (trucks, cars, planes, construction vehicles, etc.), sports themed, cowboy themed, or dinosaur themed.

I highly recommend sliding on over to the girls' side of the store to buy your little guy some shirts! Of course, that's assuming you don't mind making a little bit of a political statement. But my son wore lots of shirts that were, e.g., purple with little ducklings on them, and so forth. He liked them and I liked them, so he wore them. *shrug*

Ha... it's not me that minds the political statement... it's my very traditional Spanish husband! It's totally not worth the argument. (He was shocked when one of my friends painted her son's toenails.)

It's true. The boys' clothing selections are AWFUL. So many of them are all covered with sports or trucks, or say ridiculous things like "Dad's Little Pal!" Barf. Thankfully, there is so much in the world of girls' clothes that I can easily avoid all of the "My Heart Belongs to Daddy" crap.

Buy Carlos and Little Carlito matching pink polos.
