Bleh - why? Hot sun = sweat and either sunburn or constant need for slathering on sunscreen. And if you're not comfy showing much skin, you suffer more. And in the city, you get the joys of peoples' BO. Give me cold any day.
I love you, but I hate cold weather. I hate coats. I hate scarves and boots and hats and mittens. I hate having to wear socks, and having to bundle up, and having to bundle up my kid. I hate having to come up with a million ideas of things to play inside. I hate feeling cooped up, and I hate shoveling snow.
I love: flip flops, bare feet, shorts, playing outside, swimming, warm skin, sunglasses, eating on the deck, going to the ocean, and not having to wear coats or sweaters.
And I love just sitting on the deck while my kid entertains herself in the sandbox, or the water table, or the backyard. :) And I love barbecues.
