Waiting

Still here. Still pregnant.

It's gotten to the point where Punk is asking, "When is the baby going to come out?" because we had told her "after Halloween" and to a 3 year old, Halloween was like a million years ago.

It's been a million years for me, too.

I just wish something exciting was going on. I'm still sick/tired/weak so it's probably not the best time to be in labor or whatever but I want to meet this baby already!

Maybe it's time for you and the baby to have a chat, then let punk know that the baby decided it may wait until thanksgiving. Not that I'm wishing that on you. But that may stop at least one person from asking "the" question.

I hope you are at least getting a bit more rest then when you were working.

I am indeed getting rest (and boredom). I am also burning valuable maternity leave time. I should be working so that I can have more time with the baby when he comes. It is very depressing to think that every day I stay here without a baby is a day younger he will have to go to child care. :(

As someone who's blazed through 7 seasons of One Tree Hill, 4 seasons of Dexter, 3 seasons of Nip/Tuck, and 2 seasons of The Tudors, I could make a suggestion or two on how to not be bored whilst not working. :)

If I had Netflix or something that would be more do-able. Usually I'm at the whim of the networks and the Cable On Demand. Which means I watch a lot of 16 and Pregnant and Jersey Shore.
