My haircut experience

First of all, I want to give a very big THANK YOU to Coworker Hope for recommending Studio Posh on N. High to me. I really liked the person there (Kristi) a lot. Thanks!

The ear thing went better than I hoped because Kristi was very scared to bump it or hurt me. She wasn't as pierced as some of the other people but she understood how those things are. However, she did have to go all around my ear with the clippers and it /did/ hurt, and she had me bending my ear out of the way, which was owwie. Thank goodness it was today and not 2 days ago, though. I can actually bend my ear some, now. Thankfully. I cleaned my ear and took Advil right before I went, so there were no crusties (which helped with the bending). I had to trim some little pieces she couldn't get when I got home.

She cut the back of my hair with clippers, and she did the rest of it with this cool jagged razor thing. She just grabbed big tufts of my hair and raked the razor down and the hair fell. It was SO AWESOME! She let me do the front, which was fun. :) And then I made her hold the hair /up/ and do it (instead of down), so my hair was flying through the air like Edward Scissorhands. I think I want her to cut my hair like that all the time! The end result of the razor cut is that all of my hair is all kinds of different lengths so it sticks up all over the place and is just WAY too much fun.

She spent a long time on me. She kept taking me to the sink to rinse the little hairs off, which I appreciated. The only thing was that she styled it very girly, so I had to go home and mess it up. She did it with this hard wax, which makes it very mold-able and fun. I may have to go get some, even though I loathe styling products.

I don't think I'll ever blowdry my hair again. I am so in love with it. My goodness. So in love. Thanks, Hope. Thanks, Kristi. I'm /so/ happy with it.

I never was so happy that A. didn't love me anymore as when my hair was flying through the air and falling all around my feet. And I'm thankful that even though our hairstyles are similar, I don't look like Baga. Phew!

Heh. I went a got my hair cut a while back when I realized that getting it cut would be the first thing I would do if Wiley and I broke up. I figured I might as well do it, since that's not so likely.

I cut my hair a whole bunch of times when A. and I were together, but he never wanted me to go very short. He always said short hair wasn't attractive. BAH! It sure is!! :)
