Me: So, um, so you're not surprised, I cut off all my hair.
Mom: What do you mean, 'all of your hair'?
Me: Well, I mean all of it. Like, it's as short as Rick's.
Mom: No, really.
Me: No, really!
Mom: Oh.

[and it is at this point that she whips out the Voice of Disdain]
Mom: /Why/?
Me: I've always wanted to.

[What I /wanted/ to say: "To pick up chicks."]

Mom: Oh.

It hadn't occurred to me until this afternoon that all of the icons/logos/pictures I use to make posters and newsletters for my Big Gay Job^TM would make good userpics.
