On solid ground once again
Jan. 5th, 2002 08:18 pmI'm back in Columbus.
It's funny, my lovely friend Lara-boo was commenting about how she's flown more in the past 4 months than before, and my experience mimics hers. I've done a lot of traveling this year: I went to New York 4 times (in May, September, October, and December), I went to Atlanta once (in November), I went to Rhode Island/Massachusetts 3 times (in March, September, and December), I went to Delaware once (in December). I almost went to San Francisco in June, but plans fell through. I'm very fortunate, in terms of traveling.
What I'd really like is my little refund check from my OSU social work scholarship to pay my credit card. I've gotses holiday shopping bills to cover.
Speaking of holidays, I've had an extended one! I got home to a couple of presents: Sinister Minister & Bad Habit (two Living Dead Dolls), a Mini Me hat and a little Shaguar Matchbox car from Guy and Syndee; the cutest little plastic smurf pendant from
reveries; vanilla-smelling bath/shower stuff that I will never ever use from A's family (does anyone want it? seriously? i can't wear stuff that smells like food); and a whole bunch of cards. And I got to unpack all of my presents from RI.
Juli my love, nothing here from you. I'm starting to think it never arrived. And I bought things for people from their wish lists on Amazon (Juli being one of them) and they have not been received. *fret*
I'm alive. I'm unpacked. I'm travel-weary. I miss everyone.

Date: 2002-01-05 08:25 pm (UTC)I absolutely can't stand the smell of vanilla on me. It makes me want to eat Cocoa Puffs and drives me bonkers.

Date: 2002-01-05 08:31 pm (UTC)What I can't cope with is chocolate flavored massage bars. They smell just like chocolate but they certainly don't TASTE like it. I can cope with this chocolate mint soap we sometimes get tho, it's more minty than chocolate and I don't feel hungry after smelling it.
I also don't like orange bath products at all! Which is probably why t uses it, to keep me out of his!
