S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y... Night!
Jan. 12th, 2002 08:02 pmSo I did a whole lotta nothing today. Yeah. I win like that. I spent the day doing all of the friendtests that you crazy kids made. Sometimes I guessed well. Sometimes I knew people. Sometimes I just plain flunked. Aah well. The best part was reading the answers people put to my test, even if a) I messed up a question and b) somehow deleted the 10th question. Aah well.
Tonight, Cary and I are going to see The Reaganomics, and of course I am excited. Ludlow's has a pretty good stage/dance space and Cary is usually willing to dance all goofy-like. He isn't feeling too well which means he probably won't drink. This means he can drive, and, well, some of you could end up with drunken phone calls from yours truly.
I had planned to do lots of things today, one of which was to start reading for school. Of course I didn't do that at all. I did, however, remember to call my father (which I'd been meaning to do for days). I called Jodie and The GirlTM, too. It was a good day for the phone. I also went out to get my pictures developed and get a haircut (short hair requires maintanance - eek!). All of the one-hour places were swamped so there was no photo developing for me. Poo. I want to know what/whom I took pictures of in Delaware. I did manage to score a haircut, though. I'm really happy with it - I had to argue with the guy a little to make it perpetually shorter, to stop trying to make it girly (enough with the sideburns thing, already!), etc. but in the end, he did a great job. He even said that shorter in the back (which is what I was fighting him on) fit better with my haircut. Score! It's shorter on the sides now, which I wanted, and can spike again. Yay! Fun with wax!
Just got back from dinner with A. (I wanted food, he wanted food, we use the same finances...) While eating, the phone rang and it was The GirlTM. I'm sure he couldn't miss the Big Dopey GrinTM on my face. I wonder what he thinks, but not enough to ask. The GirlTM was having a bad day at work, and I managed to make her smile, which is, in all honesty, one of the greatest things in the universe. So I'm a happy girl, and she's a happy girl.
I can't decide what I want to wear to the bar tonight. And I should do some homework. Ciao! :)

Re: Sticking my neck out
Date: 2002-01-13 09:04 am (UTC)Well, it usually /is/ spiky, just not in the photo. And, umm, I never thought of myself much as the Tom Brokaw type, but hey! Maybe someone will think I'm famous and give me money! :)
You don't have to like it. :) It will grow out in two weeks' time anyway.
On an unrelated note, I found a cute picture of you, Mama! It's from when we all went to Boston (obviously, cause, like, when else did I see you?) and you look so goth and surly and cute. :)
