Obviously, the reason that the film didn't get nominated was that movie staff didn't perform enough fellatio (and/)or cunnilingus upon the members of the Academy.
I know. Rationally, in my head, I know this. But the part of me (which is arguably a HUGE part) that is so totally in love with the movie screams, "But the arrangements were /incredibly/ original!!" and well, "Come What May" is original, isn't it?
It would seem likely that the anal rules are indeed locking this film out of the catagory that one would instantly thing of it dominating... though there is a Costuming catagory.
There is however not a 'Super hottie Scientologist' catagory.
