Just so you know:

The correct noun for "Cool" is "Underwear," and the correct noun for "Masculine" is "Whoopi Goldberg."

And, of course, the correct noun for "Horrifying" is "Weddings."

Update to follow.

The expansion set that Shakes has is cool. It's got a card in it that says "ninjas". As Mighty Wobmat can tell you. Ninjas ALWAYS wins. =)

And I got a high five because "Girl Scouts" is the noun that goes with "hot".

I less than three Apples to Apples.

[livejournal.com profile] lorac had both expansion sets. We were talking about the "make your own card" cards that we wanted to make - like TinyTIM, and Smurfs, and of course Jude. Yeah. Or something.

"Girl Scouts" with "Hot" is freaking hysterical.

My personal favorite, though, is when [livejournal.com profile] jost and I played "Black Holes" and "Electricity" for Shakes's sex life. :)

(For me, "Puff Daddy" always wins.)

Diddy Pot Pie.

Yeah. Black Holes and Electricity is still my favorite.

Another good one was when Reo (my cute little husband) was judge and the adjective was "pathetic" and I played "My Bedroom". It won. And, of course, his comment was "What do you expect? OF COURSE my bedroom is pathetic! I'm married to a lesbian!"

Heee.

"Apples to Apples (http://www.otb-games.com/apples/)" is a really really really fun game. Yes it is. It is so much fun.

You get 7 noun cards (proper and common) and a designated judge puts down an adjective card and each player puts down the noun they think will win. You really have to know your judge.

It is /so/ much fun. More fun than Balderdash, which I love.
