So I had my phone interview with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston this morning, and I guess it went well enough, since we scheduled a second interview for next week, with the head LICSW person and the club managers from the two clubs that are hiring. This next call, heh, comes while I'm working. Maybe I will go in late that day.

This is a good thing. It is really starting to make these things seem real. Divorce madlibs are complete except for the parts where I need A's loan balances and the amount of his life insurance or whatever. I don't know why we need that - it's not like I want him to give it to me. It's only on /him/, not us. Weird.

This is the best email ever. I got it yesterday, randomly, while I was at work:

Greetings from Travelocity!

Your friend made travel arrangements today at Travelocity and requested that we share the itinerary with you.

We provide this as a service to our customers so they may conveniently share their travel information with those who may need it. We want you to also know that we do not retain your email address, so you will not receive anything further from us unless you become a free member, make a purchase, or befriend another customer!

The itinerary for [livejournal.com profile] kieron is as follows:

Okay, it's time to hit the bank and then the internship. Woot!

And we stand for the living, and we stand for the dead
And we looked out to see your enemies
and we see that you're looking all at us instead, and
You think I am being disruptive,
But no, I'm running home, I'm running
Cause I'm trying to put the atom back together
It's the Great Unknown.

She'll be here for a bit in May, too. And maybe in June if I go to graduation. :)

You get a choice about going to graduation?

It was required when I got my master's degree. The last two Big Requirements were walking in graduation and turning in the study-lab key.

Well, see...

It's the same weekend as Lag Day. And while we'll all /understand/ if she's not there, we'll be really really /sad/ if she's not.

Coworker Velma suggested going to graduation on Friday morning, and then flying out to Lag Day as a reward.

It might be a happy compromise!

I think that sounds like a GREAT plan. But, of course, you should do whatever makes you happy.

The only problem is that there's this great girl who says she wants to see me graduate (if I go), and she wouldn't be able to go to both.

I'd rather her go to Lag Day. We'll have to talk.

(Eeek! What is all this 'we' business??)

Hee! As far as I know, they can't make you do anything. I didn't go to graduation when I got my M.Ed. at BU.
