I haven't posted a whole heck of a lot because I haven't been feeling all that well. My headache has subsided considerably (it has just now popped back up a little). My girl suggested caffeine (since she knows I'm not a big fan of taking medicine) to constrict the blood vessels in the head, and it worked all day. This is good, because I had a lot of work to do (imagine that, work at work) and had to stare at a computer screen.

Yesterday, I felt like total butt. I got up earlier than I wanted to and was having a hard time sleeping because my neck hurt whenever I would try to turn my head. It was grey and nasty out, and I just felt worn down and tired. I went to work with a pretty obnoxious headache. I had 3 clients, and 2 showed. Score for that. One was an intake, though, which means an hour of paperwork. (Though they took 2 forms away, so it only took a cool 45.) I managed to get out of there in time to go to kickboxing, which is good because I can't usually go on Mondays, and now I've "stocked up" an extra attendance in case I need to miss one later.

Between my head, my neck, and my quads (from TMBG), I wasn't at my best. I had a good time anyway. We did forms mostly, which aren't very head, neck, or quad intensive. When I got back to my car, I was cyb3r3d by [livejournal.com profile] jost. Ended up calling a temporary moratorium on discussing ickiness with Jennifer since I really was having a hard time concentrating, reading, and writing. Besides, it's an "in person" sort of thing anyway. Things ended up comfortable and pleasant, which I'm glad for, because well, I don't like ickiness. (Does anyone?)

I knew I was sunk when I wished she was around since I wasn't feeling well. I'm a /terrible/ patient, and don't like 'acting' sick, so I didn't want her to take care of me in the literal sense, but I really wished she was around to snuggle with and watch movies or something. So I guess I'm still a sap, even concussive.

This morning, I was greeted with disequilibrium, and I was having trouble recalling certain odd words. (It took me a long time to come up with 'autoclave' when I was chatting with [livejournal.com profile] kungfoogirl - I kept saying 'centrifuge.') The dizzy, motion sick feeling has returned, but I'm not sure if it's from the head injury or because my blood sugar is really low, since I haven't eaten since noon. (I'm remedying that right now, have food cooking.)

Hopefully, I will be up to par tomorrow, since Wednesday is my early morning and I go to all the schools and stuff. And after schools, I have Supervision, then Team Meeting, and then two back to back clients. Then kickboxing. On the plus side, my neck is almost entirely pain-free. YAY.

Okay, eating now.

Hmmm, motion sickness? Headache? Sounds a bit like vertigo. My mom suffers from pretty regular bouts of that. It's icky.

I hope you don't have vertigo...

Well, it doesn't seem to be affecting me today, so I'm thinking it was head-injury-related. I /hope/ so, anyway. I don't want vertigo.

Maybe it's a lack of oxygen because you look so blue smurfchick! I hope you feel better very soon. It's a pain in the arse feeling like crap.

Okay, I'm jealous, because caffeine GIVES me headaches, rather than taking them away.

Really? Do you get dehydrated easily?

Possibly. It's more an allergy/trigger thing. These are migraines I get. My new and improved boss has dug out some Caro, naturally caffeine free coffee, which isn't too bad actually.

Aaah. I've never heard of Caro.

Neither had I. I don't think I'll be buying it in bulk though. I'm quite attatched to my peppermint tea.
