I'm all, "Come on baby, let's go!"
Apr. 16th, 2002 07:28 pmMuch like
geniusorafool, I went rollerblading this evening. However, I did not get to enjoy the scenery of the Charles River. I got to go to Whetstone Park, though, which I like an awful lot. I had been waffling on whether to go rollerblading or not. I don't usually like to rollerblade alone (although I like to walk alone, I'm weird), and
doulamel wasn't feeling up to it, but
rizzo41 convinced me that I would feel better if I went.
She was right! I was glad I bladed instead of walked, and Whetstone's bike path is a good place to do it. I was nice and sweaty and tired, and when I got home, I got to jump into a cold shower. Life is good.
qaphsiel and
wannabe_lola were supposed to call about dinner, but oh well. C'est la vie!
There were a ton of people walking, running, biking, and skating at Whetstone, and there were lots of baseball and softball practices. Less dog walkers, though. Still, there was lots to look at, and everyone was enjoying the high 80s.
I pulled out the patchwork overall shorts for the first time this year. I guess summer has officially arrived!
