Yesterday was movie-riffic! I saw Murder By Numbers with [livejournal.com profile] qaphsiel, [livejournal.com profile] pattisimmons, and [livejournal.com profile] 356dreamer, who had just gotten a haircut. Before that, Cary, Patti and I had Chipotle and coffee, and played Sorry! at the coffee shop at Crossroads. Patti won - she is a Sorry! scoundrel!

I got home and chatted on #columbus with [livejournal.com profile] whod81, [livejournal.com profile] badadam, and [livejournal.com profile] starzz for a while. I think [livejournal.com profile] chelve was on for a bit, too. I was antsy and didn't want to be in the house, so I brought some books and CDs to Half Price Books and then went to [livejournal.com profile] pattisimmons's house. Patti, Ryan, Adam, and I, along with [livejournal.com profile] scottsimmons, watched Moulin Rouge which, of course, I love, because I love Baz. Yay!

Patti and Scott's dog Millie laid on me, and I was covered in dog hair.

So then I got home. I chatted with Jen for the ride home, and that was okay, but I got off the phone to finish the divorce stuff. It took longer than I wanted, and at 12:30 or so, I was able to call her back. By then, though, I was tired, cranky, and basically just pissy about the whole divorce thing, but I said I would call and I did.

It didn't go well. An hour later, we decided it was best if we got off the phone. I was going to read Sexing the Cherry by Jeanette Winterson (which I bought yesterday), but I was in a terrible mood and wanted to read something angry, so I started rereading Stone Butch Blues by Leslie Feinberg instead. This, of course, got me all wound up so I was awake until about 5, between the book and my currently swollen tonsil.

A. woke me up at 7:45 to get the divorce papers notarized. I had said /after/ my phone interview. Of course that means /before/. So we went and got the stupid things notarized and copied, and then he was like, "So you can bring them to the court house?" and I'm like, "Umm, no, I have a phone interview and I got 2 hours sleep and I'm sick," and he was all kinds of put out but at this point, I don't care.

So the papers are hopefully turned in, and hopefully he has an appointment for a court date, and I had my phone interview, and I'm exhausted, and I need to work 12-8:30. Sore throat + no sleep = bad therapist. Yay.
