Babbling with no coherent focus.

Last night was a good time! Cary and I went out to dinner at Aladdin's, where he ate waaaaay too much hummus. And then we jetted up to The Melting Pot for chocolate fondue and cherry lambic. Mmmmmm. Emp had told me that I would like lambic (since he liked the Woodchuck granny smith ciders that I had that I looooooooove), and he was right! It was just the right bit of fruitiness with the fondue. Yummy. Cary rocks.

He paid, which means I buy drinks this weekend. We're heading back down to Ludlow's to see The Reaganomics again. YAY! (Anyone else want to come with? Saturday at 10:30pm, $5 cover.) I am excited. He is excited. WE ARE EXCITED! (Maybe my old boyfriend Chris will be there... hee!)

I really like the friends I have in Columbus, and I will miss them when I'm gone. I'm still /very/ excited to leave, though. Columbus has held me well, and I have learned a lot, but it is not my home. And I need to go home. Badly. To the arms of people who love me in a city that loves me, near the ocean that sustains me.

Dude. I'm in Columbus. I could go to Dave Thomas's funeral. It's right down the road from me in Upper Ahhhlington. (I never /will/ learn to say that word outside of Boston.) The curiosity is there. Hrm.

Jenn got her plane tickets to see Ani with me in March! gLoRiOuS dAy! I need to make February travel arrangements. Jost is going to be in the City and going to see Black 47 on the 19th. I so wish I could be there, too. Poot.

My pseudoboyfriend Rob is coming to visit me at work tomorrow afternoon! YAY! Are you going to be at work around 12:30 or 1:00, hopemcg?
