So I just have to share... the fact that Coworker Stephanie got out of the shower and sat on a curling iron and severely burned her ass, while tragic, is just so indicative of the people that I work with. The fact that she told Nezie, and Nezie told me, and I told Adam and Jessica... well, that sort of 4th floor high school stuff just kills me. I love it!
It has motivated me to write a little bit about some of the people I work with.
Coworker Adam is my favorite goofy hippie boy. He is also the only boy who works in this great big henhouse. The world needs more pierced freaks, I think.
Coworker Stephanie makes me laugh like few other people ever have. She looks like a Barbie doll, but acts like a 14-year-old boy. Perfect.
Coworker Jessica times two - I don't know them well, but they seem very nice.
Coworker Velma is smart as hell, and twice as tough. I've never seen anyone NOT do what she tells them to. She told me I was going to Boston for spring break. And she told Hope and Megan, too. Guess what - we're all going.
Coworker Hope has been written about so many times, I will spare her.
Coworker Deborah is loud. I can hear her down the hall and it makes me smile. She has a Frisbee full of chocolate in her office at all times. She calls me "baby girl," and for some reason, I love it.
Coworker Dionne is bright, flashy, and her smile electrifies. And she works hard. Damned hard.
Coworker Nezie listens to soap operas on the radio. She looks like she belongs in a fashion magazine. She is still trying to find out what a "velvet tongue" is.
Officemate Regina puts up with my music. She told me where to find Snood for the PC. We bump chairs, and I don't mind.
Officemate Lisa is never here, and when she is, she's on the phone. But she notices things - little things. And I appreciate that.
Coworker Brett, the director, is driven, empassioned, and dedicated. I've never seen anything quite like it.
Coworker Willa, the big director, has the most fabulous wardrobe I've ever seen. She has a camouflage cargo skirt. And black Buddy Holly glasses. I want to be her when I grow up.

My boyfriend Rob came in to work to see me today! We giggled like a bunch of girls, and I got some of the biggest hugs ever. And then he blew kisses to me all the way down the hall. He is lovely. I less than three Rob! I will be the best non-biological boyfriend he's ever had!
