I fell asleep last night around 11pm because I was feeling like crap, of course, because it's the weekend and I'm having Very Important Company. I woke up at 7:30am completely unable to sleep anymore, after fighting the urge to get up at 4, 5, and 6. So in this productive time, I've watched a movie, made the bed, cleaned the stove, closed the joint savings account, opened my very own interest-bearing checking account, and have finally retrieved that package from the post office. This was an event in and of itself because it was addressed to my maiden name and they wanted photo ID. Luckily I still carry my alumni card from Hofstra.

I don't feel all that ill but I feel very tired, especially behind my eyelids. (Does that make sense to anyone but me?) I pick up a girl in less than an hour. I can choose to think of this as a depressing sickipoo visit, or an opportunity to let a beautiful woman take care of me. I choose the latter.

This must be an Unofficial Ally Sheedy weekend. I realized a few moments ago that I watched "The Breakfast Club" last night and "High Art" this morning. Perhaps tomorrow I will watch "St. Elmo's Fire" to round out the weekend. Speaking of weekends, enjoy.
