Whistle while you work.
Apr. 5th, 2002 02:01 pmIf Coworker Hope's Sometimes Sidekick Megan doesn't get here soon so we can all (along with Coworker Velma) go to Chipotle, I'm going to start eating my own fingers.
This whole "get out of work at 12:30-1:00 on Fridays" thing is really going to make my spring a little brighter, I think. Yes. I need to get an oil change and some pants to kickbox in. Yar!
Daylight Savings on Sunday morning. "Spring Ahead" is my favorite day of the year after Jennifer's and my birthday. The idea that it will be light out until 7:30 or so on Sunday thrills me. More than thrills me, rejuvenates me.
Staff meetings are much funnier when I can insert random annoying snarky comments. I don't think Brett likes them, though.
Natalie Merchant's voice is wonderful. I remember when I was in the ninth grade and my brother said I looked like her with my little black bob on my impish frosh head. I remember when my brother and I were just starting to become friends.
I wrote an email that I was dreading, but it needed to happen. And I'm sorry it won't be well received, but I think I did the best thing for all concerned. I do so hate disappointing people, though. Still, it needed saying.
Sushi tonight with Cary. And anyone else who's interested. Kickboxing tomorrow morning. TMBG tomorrow night. The home of
pattisimmons on Sunday. With THE AMBASSADOR OF THE GAY. Weekends are GOOD.
And last night was, as needed, quick, effortless, and satisfying. A good choice. :)
