I'm here in my new apartment and it is wonderful! I love it. I've been working like a madwoman unpacking and setting up, and I'm really happy. It looks like a glorified dorm room, though, since all I own are toys. There are toys everywhere. :) My cats are adjusting happily and like their new windows. They are trying to break all of the blinds.

I will write more when I get back from kickboxing. Due to a Road Runner SNAFU, I got some more of my stuff from the other apartment and cleaned until I filled up the vacuum cleaner bag. I need to get more. I'm back and Road Runner works and life is grand. Someone should come over tonight and watch a movie on my new television. It's HUGE! (Okay, not really, but it's big for me.)

I want to expressly thank (in no particular order): [livejournal.com profile] baab, [livejournal.com profile] sudrin, [livejournal.com profile] doulamel, [livejournal.com profile] pattisimmons, [livejournal.com profile] scottsimmons, [livejournal.com profile] wasted_breath, and [livejournal.com profile] 356dreamer. With all of their amazing help, I was moved out of one place and into another in about an hour and a half. ROCK ON!

Okay, I go kick boxes now. Toodles!

The stunning actress who plays Senator Amildala in Attack Of The Clones announced that, although she has never explored her lesbian fantasies, she would not rule it out.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] scottopic for the link (and for getting my hopes up).

[livejournal.com profile] kungfoogirl: Email her. Be like "hey, how YOU doing?"
[livejournal.com profile] smurfchick: How YOU doin', Natalie? :)
[livejournal.com profile] kungfoogirl: You'd get a whole new refrigerator if you converted her!
[livejournal.com profile] smurfchick: Naw, dude, I'd just get a big FAT smile on my face.

I never write about kickboxing, so I'm going to tonight. I dragged myself there today even though I was a little leery that I was going to gush blood everywhere (I'll spare your friends pages the tale of my first period in a year's time, and the year's worth of blood. Oh wait, there, I told you.) because I didn't go last Wednesday or Saturday morning. I'm really glad I went.

The only other person there was crazy Sheila, the red/black belt, so I ended up learning a new kick that we call a front whip, but the rest of the martial arts world calls an outer crescent. (Why do we use funny names?) That was pretty fun, and we did forms. We haven't done forms in a long time, but I guess Sheila is getting closer to black belt test time, and Master Clements has decided that I absolutely have to test for my yellow belt soon. Dude, that would be pretty cool. I'd like to have a job first, though, so I can afford the test fee.

We did forms, too, which means I spent half of the latter part of class sitting on my butt watching Sheila do all of the stuff I haven't learned yet. She's not very enthusiastic in her forms. I hope I look a little more spirited. I don't know if I do, though. Aah well.

Then she tried to goad me into breaking a brick with my hand. After seeing Sheila's reaction to the brick-breaking, I declined. Ha! Take THAT! I rubbed her hand for her, though. That was my contribution.

I am still having a whole lot of fun. It seems that my technique is getting better, which is good. I actually almost look like I know what I'm doing some of the time, except when turning is involved. If I had my way, I wouldn't ever have to do a turning side kick. I always feel like I'm going to fall over.

Either way, I should practice more. My new apartment has a pretty long hallway, and I can do kick combinations all the way to my bedroom. Hee. How dorky is /that/? Ha ha ha. I need a job soon so I can afford to pay for kickboxing. Yep.
