I was almost a total stud tonight.

I was talking to this girl outside of Waffle House, and I came this (><) close to writing my phone number on the dirt on the back of her car. But I chickened out (BAWK BAWK!) and drew a smiley face instead. Oops.

Besides, I didn't need my phone number driving all over Central Ohio. Really.

I really need to kiss someone. SOON.

I have another job interview now. A woman from Faith Mission called this morning saying that my resume had gotten stuck to the back of someone else's and she just saw it. I'm not all that sure about the job - I'll really need to hear more about it because it's case management with the homeless and I'm not so sure how I feel about how well I can serve that population, but she did say she could come up with the salary I wanted. (It's sad that I'm doing cartwheels about $30,000/year.)

I was awakened early this morning by the phone call from Faith Mission, and decided to stay awake and watch one of my Netflix movies that I'd been hanging onto for a while, Black and White.

It got me thinking... )

Wisdom for the day:

1. I think it's the "sautee in margerine until golden brown" part that makes Rice-a-Roni so yummy.

2. Even if you wait at home all day, the UPS delivery person will come the second you leave the house. And then mark that tomorrow's delivery attempt will take place when you have a job interview.

3. You never know what sort of calls are going to come into a youth services center. I may rant on that later, but right now I'm still too angry and disgusted to put it into words.

4. Long-term commitment can be a real crap shoot. Even if you are devoted, you can only control 50 percent of the variables.

5. Sometimes it's nice to forget your detachable faceplate, because then you can sing in the car in silence.

6. I love kickboxing. Especially the jumping roundhouse kick.

7. Pictures of the best boyfriends make the best userpics.

8. People don't write and receive enough letters. If I made a circle of pen pals, who would be interested?
