Mr. B (FBorFW) is dying. That is so sad! :(

Last night was coffee-riffic. After work, I made The Girl dinner and then we went our separate ways. I went up to Scottie MacBean's in Clintonville to catch a hot beverage with communista. That was big chatty fun, and I think we were the last people in there. They were starting to give me dirty looks. Then I headed down to Vic's to see who was still around from the Meetup crew. I got to have a yummy hot cocoa (and see the cute coffee shop girl) and goof off with osuptygal, laughingsal, lemur68, pattisimmons, wasted_breath, chutup, and my favorite girl. There was this creepy guy emptyvessel there and he kept staring at me. Yuck.

This has been a good week for mail, too. I got three cute smurfette figurines from oddharmonic, and her daughter drew me a picture. And last night I got a holiday card from my friend Dublin, and it had a picture of her, her husband, and their new baby. They are adorable! Of course, I also got my car insurance bill, so I guess it wasn't /totally/ good mail.

I like how everyone in columbus seems to mesh so well and drift in and out of each other's lives. At the doctor's yesterday, the nurse asked me if I had a good support system here. It was so effortless and so automatic to say yes. There's something about walking into a familiar coffee shop and hearing several voices calling your name from the couches. Yay!
