Nov. 29th, 2002 10:58 amI hope that all of you had a wonderful and relaxing holiday. And for those of you who had to work, I hope you got time and a half or something. Personally, I enjoyed my paid day off and spent it being completely and totally lazy. I didn't take a shower until something like 8:30pm, and didn't crawl out of bed until after Noon. Nice. (Of course, not all of that was sleeping, which is even nicer.)
My Jennifer made dinner for us and had done most of the prep work and most of the cleaning by Wednesday night when I got home from work. Dinner was good, and I stuffed myself. Whee! I made the obligatory family calls. After dinner, we spent the day laying in bed watching the first season of Queer as Folk and just generally goofing around. It was picture-perfect - two cute girls and a little kitten curled up on the bed watching television.
Last night I finally went home and she helped me clean my apartment a little bit so my
smurfbrother and his girlfriend can come visit tonight. YAY! Does anyone have any suggestions about what to do with them tonight? I want to have fun! He hoped The Reacharounds were playing, but alas, they're not. :(
Quote of the morning in the Resource Center: "Certain guys know how to treat certain woman. I like my women conservative, professional. Except, you know, behind closed doors, you know, whatever." Wisdom in the shelter. Lordy.
So what should I do with Mr. Baga and Ms. Gretchen this evening, hmm? Or tomorrow?
