At a homeless shelter (ABC, 10:30): smurfchick (Harvey Fierstein) unknowingly gets high before a meeting with kyoki_tenchi (Jayne Mansfield). Then, murnkay (Sela Ward) gets in trouble with the law when prunesnprisms (Jeri Ryan) discusses end tables with an undercover cop. At the same time, salomes_pimp (Groucho Marx) and scottopic (Tom Cruise) kiss at a Broadway show. On the other side of town, cappucinogrrl (Louis Prima) bites happy2beso (Alan Arkin). Later, crushinator (Patsy Kensit) teaches prettyvacantone (Daniel Baldwin) about banana slugs. Wackiness ensues.

I had the pleasure of sharing lunch with Mlle. Jen. At my urging, she let me whisk her off to North Market so we could have greek salads. She's one of those people I'd really like to get to know better, to explore the intricate details of her bouyant personality. Of course, this means she is leaving for France in a couple of days. Damn that timing!

She has beautiful hands.
