judecorp: (keep going)
The weather, it is TEH YUCK and I don't want to go out and work. I have two home visits before lunch (9:30 and 10:45), and then two home visits before Staff Meeting (1:00 and 2:00, I think) and then one home visit after Staff Meeting (5:30). Long day. Long day in yucky weather. Really I should be staying home watching A Mighty Wind or the first disc of Angels in America, both of which are here via Netflix. But no, I will venture out into the icky sleet and go to work.

I got stood up twice yesterday. Honestly, I would have better productivity if I didn't have totally chaotic families. How am I supposed to meet my quota when I keep getting stood up? Blarg. I wouldn't mind getting stood up for my 5:30, though.

It was great to sit around last night and chat with [livejournal.com profile] folkyboy. (Apologies for rambling on and on and on, folky, I guess I don't get a chance to bitch very often.) I always feel better when I get to just babble about whatever has been going on in my last few weeks. I should take Folky to dinner more often. Especially because that would mean he would /eat/.

Sleep

judecorp: (work poison)
I am so tired I think I am going to go to sleep for one million years. Or at least until tomorrow morning, when Jen has to wake up at 5:45 AM (!!!) to go do inventory at work. Ugh.

I am really worried about her and her job. Not only has she been working incredibly long hours doing this inventor thing, but this week is her assistant manager's last week. (She quit.) So now there will only be the manager and Jen opening and closing the store. And on his two days off a week, she has to open /and/ close. Which means working 9 AM to 9:30 PM. How the heck is this right or fair??!? I don't like it. Not one bit. And I wish there was something I could do about it besides watching her sit at home tired and grumpy all the time.

Fie.

p.s. Happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] mooglegrl!
