Ever since the swaddles were removed from the house, Punk will not take a nap. She /may/ take a little nap first thing in the morning when she is still tired, but that is /it/.
She took a 20 minute nap this morning, and was up around 8am. She has not slept yet. She is so tired she does not know what to do with herself. I have tried to put her to bed no less than 30 times so far. One time, she actually was asleep - eyes closed, arms down - and in the time it took me to go into the bathroom (the next door over) and put some lotion on my hands, she was awake and screaming. That was at 11. It is now 12:40.
I /hate/ putting her in the swing to go to sleep, but that's where she is now, and has been for 15 minutes, yet she is not sleeping. She looks like she /might/ start sleeping. Oh wait! The phone just rang and it was an effing telemarketer. So much for the 'might start sleeping' part.
It's been almost 5 hours since she woke up from a 20 minute nap. She has been a screaming, overtired mess since a little after 10am. I am so livid that I am physically shaking. I have no idea what to do, but right now leaving her in the swing and going out to catch a movie is looking better and better. ;)
Comments off. The last thing I need right now is a bunch of assvice. Unless that assvice involves booze.
