Umm, that's like a big deal mucky-muck $175/person event at the Hyatt Regency. Wowwie wow! I have no clothes to wear. I feel so nouveau riche queer now. Ha ha ha.

Seriously, though, it will be a fun way to get to know her, I think. Especially since we never managed to get lunch.

Human Rights Campaign and Hyatt Regency Columbus both have the same initials. I followed the link without and was like, "Why would Jude be going to some ritzy hotel benefit? She doesn't strike me as the ritzy hotel type ..."

Then I saw the title of the event. :) Jude DOES strike me as the ritzy human rights type. :) Have fun!

If I wasn't so far away, I'd gladly offer you free reign to riffle through my girly vintage clothes. I've never even worn most of it but I have a hard time resisting the once-a-month (sometimes less depending on budget) splurge when I find something absolutely fabulous at a price I can afford.

We'll have to arrange it sometime, then. Most of it's been unpacked but I can't pin down where I'll be after this fall since Robert has to decide whether to go Guard early or not.

The best thing about vintage clothes is that I can find stuff in my size with a bust small enough that I don't look like I'm swiping things from my mother's closet. Hooray for small boobies!
