I was treated to take-out lunch from El Vaquero, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] doulamel. I swear that girl is trying to make me fall in love with her for going to one of my favorite restaurants and remembering what I always order there. So we eat and watch Ghost World (which I think is really cute), and then head down to Yankee Trader. I spent way too much money on luau-type decorations for my bedroom and more duckies for the bathroom. Yay! On the walk there, we ran into Bucky. On the walk home, we stopped at Coffee Table for some iced coffee. Mmm.

Kickboxing next. Aaah, kickboxing. We have a new student, Roberta, who is nice. And Deanna the almost-black belt came, and she cracks me up. I don't usually get to talk to her because she's usually talking to Sheila, but Sheila wasn't there. Yay me!

I hung up the luau decorations when I got home and they are cute! I need another fishing net, though. Later that night, people came over to watch Mulholland Drive. It was Steve's and Lara's idea to watch a late movie, but neither of them came. Instead, Missy Goodtimes and I were graced by the presence of four lovely boys: Ryan, Adam, Sean, and Sean's friend Mike. (Mike called Adam "Jude" and I almost pissed myself. Does that make me Adam?" Mulholland Drive was certainly interesting. We had "old people sex." We were scared of tiny old people. My brain still hurts. Damn that David Lynch! And that blonde woman had nipples of steel, I swear. Meep!

It's nice to hear Adam call me "seestor" again. Yay! <3 <3 <3

I have a very long To Do list today. I doubt I'll get it all done. And I'm groggy from being unable to sleep half the night, and constant waking up. Bleh!

So, what do you always order there? Before I started losing weight, I always got #141 (pollo ranchero), but nowadays I stick to fajitas.

I hate ordering it, but I love #69 - bean burrito, cheese enchilada, and rice.

I plead the 5th regarding lunch. ;) I think YOU were trying to make ME fall in love with YOU by making me that sweet tea. ;)

So yeah the movie was weird, but did you like it? Do you get it? I didn't and had to watch it like 5 more times and read a whole website about it.

Well, Sean was doing some explaining, but the problem was we were all talking so much during the movie that we missed lots of it. But I think I have the general idea, as much as I've ever understood a David Lynch movie except Blue Velvet which I had to write a paper on.

As for the sweet tea, I always make it like that. 4 bags of tea, one cup of sugar. :)

I know - it's terrible like that. I don't know too many other songs worse than "Krishna" in the 'stuck in your head' department.

Sorry!
