There are portions of the epistles (aka St. Paul's Letter to the ____) that I just don't like at all, but overall they're a part of the New Testament I used to really enjoy reading. There are lots of "instructions" for the building and spreading of the early Church that, I think, make a lot of valid points, but I think the two verses above are my new favorites for the day, even though the writer and I might tussle a little bit over the definitions of "wrong" and "good." :) I really should re-read that book sometime, especially while I have copious amounts of free time.
In other (less exciting) news, I've successfully gone to the bank, cleaned the cat boxes, taken out the garbage, swept the floors (errant cat litter), and done the dishes. I still need to run to the post office and also check on
One of my favorite parts of a song to sing, ever: If you toss 'round some words, you might say that Sal was carrying a torch for the Mob. But the Mob's gone too, yeah, the only sign of them left is on every screen at the multiplex and we go there, no prob, hey, cause there ain't no cowboys in this Connecticut town. No not anymore, no, not since Sal's burned down. I love the way everything in the song shifts right there.
