Breaking her Geocaching cherry.

I took doulamel on her first geocaching expedition, and it was a nice success. It was the Travel Bug Airport Cache and it was located in the same park where hopemcg and I hid the Stonehenge Cache (that got stolen, boo hoo). I really like that location - it's a cute little park in Gahanna right off Route 62. This cache was in a very clever, very good hiding spot, and everything was plastic bagged so it was in great shape. I took a white tiger patch from the Cincinnati Zoo, and Mel took a pencil. I left 2 bat rings (of course), a Winnie the Pooh watch that needs a battery, and a Cafe Espresso club card from Borders.

I think I want to find the Why Man? cache in Grandview before the end of the week. Hopey?

I'll go if we can go tomorrow. Doing it once just isn't enough. ;) The first time was too good. That mix of anticipation and curiosity...with such a wonderfully satisfying result...oh yeah. Again and again.

I think it's hysterical that you poked around and it was right there and you missed it. :) I'd even get up early-ish tomorrow morning if you wanted to - that would make it a little less warm, too.
