You know, I used to think that I was a really good communicator. I actually used to pride myself on my honesty, my directness, my willingness to tell everything come hell or high water. Speak the truth and deal with the consequences later - that was my motto. I also always felt that I was pretty good at getting my feelings and thoughts out when I needed to. Written communication and reading are tough for me sometimes, but I always thought that when I stuck to it and tried hard, I was good at conveying my insides to the important people in my life.

Why didn't anyone tell me that I was completely and totally wrong about this? I am apparently a master of miscommunication. Score!
