I'm actually going to be VERY BAD and dip into the savings again to take Ms. doulamel to dinner at Johnny Rockets, because dang it, I wanted cherry coke made with cherry syrup. And in the grand scheme of things, it's only money.

I wish there was a Johnny Rockets in Denver... I've wanted to go to one since I first saw their website in... erm, it was linked from the Iron Giant website and I'd planned on seeing it on my birthday that year but didn't due to circumstances.

Thankfully Denver has Gunther Toody's, where I can not only get cherry and vanilla Cokes made up with syrup but really great malts served by cute waitresses in aqua shirtdresses -- some even on rollerskates! (:

I actually had a bottle of cherry syrup for awhile, but then I got hooked on grenadine. I'm out of both so I'm now tempted to hit the local grocery that stocks raspberry and cherry syrups and pick up both. Must... resist...

OKAY THERE'S A WHOLE STORY TO THIS EXCUSE.

So like... they are working on the front porch and they are painting or something on the house nextdoor... so there's a constant ammount of knocking going on. so i set a clock so i know about what time you'll be there.... but unbeknownst to me... Kelly's clock is 3 hours behind... finally at 4pm i was like 'damnit jude... :(' and i got in my car and i looked at the clock and it was like 6:30pm and i was like OH MOTHERFUCKER!

i'm sorry. i'll buy you lunch/dinner wherever and whenever you want!
