I'm running out of time for LiveJournal. It seems like I don't get a chance to write anymore, and I rush through reading. I need to work out how to deal with that. Maybe when I start working my normal hours or something.

The new job is alright. There's a lot up in the air since they created my position by scrambling some other positions together and they're not sure how to make it work. They keep saying I can be "creative" which really means "You figure it out, we have no idea." Still, I don't mind the work and I like the people. It will be nice to get paid again, even though it's just a widdle bit of money. I just wrote my third rent check with my savings. Ouch. I spent a lot of money this summer.

Today is my grandmother's 80th birthday, and I was so wrapped up in the new job that I nearly forgot. She will be getting flowers from me tomorrow. She loves fresh flowers. No one loves fresh flowers more than my Babcha.

Last night, Ryan and I celebrated our six-monthaversary by going to Mongolian Barbecue. He was, as always, great company. He even made me a mix CD that he decorated with hearts! What a great guy.

I went to Meetup tonight after futiley shopping for work pants. We left Meetup (me, Ryan, Sean, Cari, and Deanna) to go to Steak and Shake. They're going midnight bowling. I want to go midnight bowling. DAMN THAT JOB!!

There is a strange cat who has been camping outside my kitchen window. It is driving my cats bonkers. I keep chasing it away with a broom. It keeps coming back. Stupid cat. I should give it to Missy Goodtimes.

There's lots in my head right now, and the one person I'd like to spill it to and process it with is unreachable. Damn.

Goodnight, LiveJournal.

Regarding LJ reading...

It's odd... but everyone feels a compulsive need to read every single LJ post. Mainly because fredbloggsljuser is going to get really really shitty when you don't happen to know thay they had a really spiffing time at the party the other night and they actually held hands with someone they liked! It's a guilt trip plain and simple.

LJ isn't a responsiblility. It's nice to know you read my posts (i'm often surprised people actually do. I'd be more surprised if i found it was because people find me entertaining rather than i'm the partner of "THE Juliann" :) However... if you don't happen to read me journal, or Juliann's, or JoebloggsLJusers... they're not going to hate you forever. We've all got big friends lists. Read your favourites if you're busy and read everyone if your bored, and be sure not to feel a responsibility to them if you don't have time... ... ... unless of course it's my posts which you'd better read or you'll never see your favourite juliann again... mwahahaha!

I don't feel compelled to, but I /want/ to. I like reading LJ posts because it makes me feel connected to people I care about, even in little snippets (and yes, my dear, even you). LJ may not be a responsibility, but to me, keeping up with friends is.

It won't get to the point where I drive myself crazy about it, but I'm going to have to work out how to do this "work full time" thing. Guh.

Probably, but I certainly can't provide one for it, and in the meantime, its presence is making my cats totally spastic.

Spastic cats = no sleep for kitty mama = BAD

Maybe you could catch it and take it to a no kill shelter? That way it could find a happy home and you wouldn't have it bothering you anymore?

I haven't seen the cat since. I think s/he belongs to someone... s/he was in really good condition and is a recent addition to the neighborhood. Being right around September first, there's a bunch of new people around here.

But if I see the cat again, perhaps I will try to do that, especially if it's on a weekend.
