Awww, I feel your pain! I lost my voice twice last year for a week at a time. I know it's not a great secret, but tea with honey helped me out a lot.

Oh, I hate the honey too...but after struggling with my voice, I was forced to give in and add it to the tea. It really *does* help for me.

I had to take a break from tea, even. I need orange juice to live, dang it! What sucks is that I look and feel completely good. And then I open my mouth.

Oh, I know *all* about it sista. Gargling with warm salt water is supposed to help too...but I always feel strange when I try to gargle.
