I couldn't handle Four Feathers. War-type movies usually render me tired and cranky. However, I'm now wishing I'd suggested some other burst of cinematic genius like Swimfan or fear dot com.
Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood is at Carriage Place. Hrm.
I really liked the Four Feathers. I went entirely for the drool factor thinking that I would be really put off by the story, but I wasn't. I found that the movie didn't lose my attention in the slightest. It was more about the various relationships and redemption than war. And there was a whole lot of Heath, which is always a plus.
Also, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood was very good. It had way more depth than I had thought it would. Ashley Judd gave an incredible performance.
Swimfan won't win any awards, but it will comfortably numb your head for 90 minutes or so if you don't feel like thinking too much.
I like Health Ledger quite a bit, and maybe I should have chosen that movie. I dunno, I kind of wanted something brain-numbing, and perhaps swimfan would have been a better choice, even for the slutty girls factor. *shrug*
I do plan to see the Ya-Ya movie sometime soon, yes.
