Well, today was largely a waste. Well, after 3:30am or so.
I crawled my night-owl self into bed at 3:30. I'd like to say it was an exception to the rule, but no, I tend to do this. I got involved in a really amazing scene on DG and just stayed up. The cats woke me up at 6:30 for breakfast (damn them!) and then again at 8 for lovin'. I gave up at 10, and did a whole lotta nothing, which basically boils down to reading Entertainment Weekly and playing with LJ.
I went to work at 1pm. After futzing with paperwork and straightening out a computer error that had all of my clients listed as 'cancelled' (which means they weren't getting reminder calls), I got ready for my 4pm client. The sole reason I went in, really. The same woman who had the migraine weeks ago. I called her at 2, she said she was coming. She called at 3 to say the kid was sick and she needed to cancel. ARGH! It's been nearly a month since I saw them last. I have 30 day deadlines to come up with treatment plans and things. That makes me very Grrrrr! So I left.
I went to the library to return a book and got a couple movies to enhance my weekend alone: 'A Very Brady Christmas' and 'Untamed Heart.' Yeah! Someone come over and watch them with me!
Tonight I'm doing chinese take-out with the Kaleidoscope youth. YAY! They are so awesome, and the other volunteer is a chick I haven't seen in a loooooong time, since we both sat on the Columbus Queer Youth Alliance. That will be cool. And I get chinese food.
One of my newest LJ friends list members, who is quite a cool chick it would seem, is going to get free lunch compliments of me. A damsel in distress, the poor gal is low on funds, and we all know I can't resist riding up and saving distressed damsels.

Jude is trying to decide what to have. Not too much, cause I'm doing chinese with the youth group tonight.
Kristofer says "some cut veggies? a bit of fruit?"
Jude says "Oooh, fruit!"
Jude has peaches. Mmmmm.
Kristofer says "I bet you do."
Jude rolls her eyes.
Time to forage.
