My hair is usually significantly shorter than this, and I don't usually spike it up. I'm going to get a haircut after work today, actually, because it's just plain getting too long for me. Bleh. So I was using the hair glue (instead of the gel), and usually I smoosh it all in and then smoosh my hair down, but today I just said eff it, and left it all over the place.

It's kind of fun. Makes me not want to get a haircut, almost. But I looooove the feeling of my hair when it's super short.

I love the feeling when my hair is freshly buzzed and I can run my hands over it. Better than that is when someone else runs their hands over it. Mmmm. *purrrrr*

Shoot, I'm getting excited just thinking about it.

There's a line in the song "Little Plastic Castles" by Ani DiFranco that goes: From the shape of your shaved head, I recognized your silhouette as you walked out of the sun and sat down. I like looking in the mirror when I've just gotten a haircut ~ I like the idea that my head is recognizable.

i cut my hair into 4 inch spikes on thursday and then today i went back to get it cut more...i think i have an addiction or something...this happens every time i chop my hair off...by next week i'll probably have a shaved head :( save me jude!
