Ha ha! My dad always says things like that, how I should steal her away from him or whatever. Hee!
Actually, I was going to the ABO to get the Harry Potter tickets for The Girl and me, and he was standing there, so I said hello. He then waved her over or something, and she was a little startled by my firm handshake. *giggle*
I wish I could have been privy to their following conversation...
Oh, I dunno, five minutes tops. Jen was waiting in line at Johnny Rockets and I figured I would pick up our tickets while she was waiting so we wouldn't have to rush later. I saw him standing near the ticket machine (he was wearing the sweatshirt he always wears, I hate that sweatshirt!) so I said, "Hey, Aaron, what's up?" and he said hello. Then I remarked that he had new glasses. Then he asked me where I parked (the plaza was a mobscene) and I pointed out front (primo parking) and said, "About 5 rows back." He said, "You bitch. I'm all the way over at Barnes and Noble." Somewhere in there he asked what I was going to see and I said Harry Potter. I didn't ask what he was seeing. Then he waved to someone, and I figured it was her, and she came over and he introduced us in Aaron style ("Jude, Alison, Alison, Jude"). I shook her hand and said it was nice to meet her, but that I had to go because The Girl was waiting in the food line. They went inside. I called out, "Nice seeing you," and ran over to Johnny Rockets.
She looks like exactly the sort of person one would expect him to date, which is to say she's a pretty no-frills, average kind of girl.
She was my height or slightly shorter, and had reddish-brown hair that was past her shoulders. She wore no makeup. She dressed casually. She is the sort of girl you could look over in a crowd - a totally average, down-to-earth girl.
