I'm tired. I'm hot. I'm achey all over. This is so not even right. I never feel like this, really. The achiness, I mean. This is yucky. Mondays are not days I can miss from work, and they run until 9pm. Yuck yuck yuck.

At least the best girl in the world is going to spend the night, and she's bringing NyQuil gelcaps. I have never taken NyQuil gelcaps. The last time I took NyQuil, I took it in liquid form in high school and it kept me up for two days. Hopefully this won't happen. Hopefully I won't get her sick. Hopefully I will be better tomorrow. I'm supposed to get a flu shot on Tuesday, and I'd really need to be better for that. Damn the shelter. Damn coming in contact with 200+ people per day.

Steve's housewarming party was fun. Game night at Patti's last night was fun. Dinner with the doula was very fun. A good, calm weekend with good people. Yay.

I'm so very lucky.
