judecorpToday was the sort of day where I had a hard time getting out of bed. It was so grey and so cold and so blah outside, which was a stark contrast to my warm, fuzzy, red flannel bed sheets that were still warm from a girl and two cats. We went to bed fairly early, so when Jennifer left at a little before 9, I got up and started puttering around.
It's really been fairly uneventful around here. Very few people came to my open hours downtown, case review went on and on in the brrr-cold 3rd floor but was very quiet, and now I'm here in my office eating lunch. It's all rather nondescript, as if you could put all of the previous events in a manila envelope and stamp "DAY" on the front, and then shove it in the back of a desk drawer or something.
I'm starting to make my holiday card list. I'm starting to think about gifts for people. I need to check my (bling bling) finances and see what I have to amuse myself with. I feel like I'm saying nothing of substance.
I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning at 8:30, so I can get to work on time. I feel so odd when I have health insurance, especially here. I've got a privilege that all of the people I work with don't. I hate that. I wish this country would just offer health care and get over it already. There are systems in other countries where wealthy people can buy plans that are in excess of the national standard, so even the rich people would have nothing to complain about. Let's get with the program, people.

Because doing that would be ::gasp:: socialism--we adopt a national health-care system, we might as well slap the ol' hammer and sickle onto the Stars & Stripes, comrade. God forbid we fall into the same trap as such godless welfare states as Canada and Sweden.
