I want to write, eventually. I want to write about going to Bernie's with prudentlikea saucy librarian type last night to see The Reacharounds, and I want to write about Rabbit-Proof Fence, and I even want to write about how I've been cranky for seemingly no reason this weekend. I want to write about my bafflement (is that a word?) about how my insurance company can charge me a $75 deductible for a $39 lab test. I might even want to write about how my vacuum seems to be broken, and how I only found out /after/ I dumped that powdery smelly crap all over the apartment, and the cats kept sneezing.

But then kieronmy hero brought over her vacuum. So I think maybe instead of writing about all of those things, I will drag her into my bed with her book and my copy of Orlando that I have from the library, and just cuddle up for an hour or so. Maybe that will cure the crankypants.

Orlando!!! Way cool! I tried getting through the book after seeing the movie, but was apparently too stupid to accomplish it. I love the movie, though. Had the soundtrack forever...

T and I were discussing feeling cranky for no apparent reason earlier today. I don't know what it is, but you're not the only one suffering from it!

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX,
Jennie

I've never seen the movie. I'm weird in that I'm usually /very/ anal about reading the book before seeing the movie (unless it's some book/movie I don't really care about, or don't know it's a book first). I'd been putting off seeing the movie, actually, because I never had time to sit and digest the book, but now I know that The Girl has the movie on tape, and it made me want to see it, so I had to go reserve the book.

I'm liking the book so far, but then again, I'm only in Chapter Two. :)
