Wasn't it cool?? I went with opalexian who was gracious enough to let me go with her on the premier night (midnight) and we sat in the VIP seats in the Arena Grand.
And isn't Legolas cute? Come on, he's *almost* like a girl.
It's not really my kind of movie. I mean, I don't like fantasy stuff, I never read the books and I have no desire to read the books, I had to read The Hobbit in 7th grade and hated it. And I don't like violent movies, and there was a lot of fighting in it.
BUT, I did like those tree things. Those were cool. The whole joy in the movie, though, for me was watching Jennifer's face. I mean, most of the movie I watched her instead of the movie. She was so into it. That made me smile.
As for Legolas, eh, not so much. What I /really/ want to know is how all those women in Middle Earth could find the time and equipment to sculpt their eyebrows, when the men couldn't even wash their hair.
