The last show. No, really.

Last night was (supposedly) the very last show The Reacharounds would ever play. I'm dubious, only because I've gone to three or four of these last shows, and they keep playing more! Of course, since gibson is leaving town really soon, I guess the likelihood of another show is somewhat reduced. Still, how many times can a band break up?

I got to go to High Five for the first time. And I got to see Eric Wrong and the Do-Rights for the first time. So that made for a neat evening. Actually, the whole thing was pretty fun. And I got to see The Nurses again. Whee! Local music is definitely a good thing.

I invited Coworker vorpalbla to the show, and he got to meet some more people, and Mommie Naked too, so that was a success. And I got to see galadahlia again. And some girl named Rebecca was making out with prudentlike. And I stole another jelly bracelet from prettyvacantone. Soon she'll have none left. I am bad.

Just typing this makes the whole evening seem so blah, and that was totally not the case. This weather needs to change, and soon, because even fun nights like last night are getting clouded over with malaise. I had a rockin' good time. Brandie even said that she was in love with me on stage. *swoon* And Barty bought me a beer. (Pee Bee Arr, baby.) So it was fun to see all the Same Olds: Sean and Bart and Missy and Wendy and Ryan and Adam and Jeremy and Kelly and Brandie. Saci was in California, though. What is up with that?

Hey, I still refer to hopemcg as "Former Coworker Hope," and she is a good friend of mine. So there.

It's just, I don't know, an LJ habit. I called her "Coworker Hope" so much that people would see her and ask me, "Is that Coworker Hope?".

I've never used the word buddy. Maybe for you I'll make an exception. And as for Mommie Naked... well, what else would you call Brandie Naked's mom?
