Revolution!
Feb. 28th, 2003 06:39 pmIf there are two sides to you, this is surely the easier one.
Nobody was blowing up townhouses yet with your blessing, nobody was
smashing monogamy with your help, no one was gagged and tied to your
one-track mind, no bullet yet had the name of a student or a fugitive on it
no bombs in banks, no Brinks truck holdups
the revolution was still clean, just us and them, kind of a family feud
under the April sky.
The administration was dad, the faculty was mom, and you were the kids
you were the kids
Dad you said I'm not asking for the keys to the car, I've got the car and if you
don't knock off the BULLSHIT I'll drive this thing right straight into the house,
is that what you want?
You got 15 minutes.

I might have gotten it from the book Verses that Hurt. I have it somewhere in my apartment, but we just moved and all the books are still packed.
