It was a pretty close race, I have to say. Thanks to everyone who voted! And the winner is...



Extra special thanks to mooglegrl for pointing out the difference between a vertical labret and a plain old center lip piercing. It actually hurt a bit more than I expected it to. Well, that's not entirely accurate. The level of pain was pretty much what I was expecting... but I hadn't taken into account how far down they actually start the piercing (since it's a labret and not a regular lip piercing), and there was a whole lotta flesh to go through. I told Ryan (the piercer, not the boyfriend) that I wasn't expecting it to be so long, and he concurred - it's a thick piercing, and it takes more than the half-second I was initially expecting.

I think it may be slightly off-center on the bottom. He lined it up perfectly with his purple dots, but I think the bottom dot might have been a bit off. It's hard to tell, though - that could be caused by the fact that it's a curved barbell and it's flopping over a little. Either way, I like it.

No smooches for a while though. /That/ will be tough! But Ryan said I could still use my lip stuff. Damn good thing, because they put crack in those little blue tubs and if I can't use it, I'll die.
