Girl still sick. Did her laundry and my laundry at Dirty Dungarees with Brandie. Then we went to the Dube and thrifting and I got a smurfy-blue polo shirt that says "Republican National Convention 1992" on it (I got it just for you, [livejournal.com profile] 356dreamer!). I rock so hard. I also got a soccer shirt that is too small for me (it is /so/ Axis) and a motivational tshirt from a Wal*Mart inventory event. But the winner was Brandie who got this hot hot HAWT cheerleading shirt. Jesus wept.

So now pizza is on the way, and I think we'll watch Crazy/Beautiful or Cecil B. Demented. Or both. Who knows? I just hope I don't get sick. Yucko.

This Friendster thing is pretty neato. I've "met" this chick Jenn in CA that is going to make me a mix tape. I do loves me some mix tapes, uh huh, uh huh.

Lesson of the day: I am a shitty companion for a sick person. And the sadder thing is, I don't know that I'm even willing to work on it. @set me=bad person.

Crazy/Beautiful == great movie
Cecil B Demented == odd movie that everyone but me seems to hate. I laughed.

We ended up watching them both. I thought Crazy/Beautiful was pretty good. Not very believable, as those movies tend to be, but it was entertaining. I'd seen Cecil B. Demented before, and I love it. I love John Waters! :)

What is Friendster, and how does one get a beta code?

The beta code password is "coke."

Friendster seems to be very similar to the 6d thing that was kind of big on the web in like 1998. It's sort of a "Who do you know through who you know?" thing, a six degrees of separation thing. I think the general premise is that through people you already know, you can meet knew people you might really like. My friend Luke sent me the invite, and so I sent it on.

:)
