You know, I'd forgotten how happy Jimmy Buffett makes me. Thanks, Ass Kicking Cutie! It's even encouraging me to, like, get up and shower and not be a Dirty Grrl.

baab is coming over in a little while with his wife. Yay! We're going to the Fair (I know, I know, I just went, but now I get to go with Blob. And in the daytime. And there will be geeky fun everywhere). This gets me to thinking.
Things I like about my move to Columbus, Ohio:
1. Living closer to Blob. Big plus.
2. Last year's internship at Stonewall.
3. The Kaleidoscope youth.
4. This year's internship at Children's Behavioral Health.
5. Sonal, Christen, Nikki, Tiffer, Alicia, Crystal, Christa, Tracey, Nick, Lois, Jonathan
6. Last year's Fellowship award was pretty cool.
7. Chipotle
8. Bucky. You know, Bucky rocks.
9. The Columbus Metropolitan Library system is pretty awesome.
10. Ani came here last year.
11. Margaret Cho in November.
Yesterday was excellent. Let's briefly recap. Easy day at internship - good chat with boss. Cleaned apartment. Got email from Princess that caused butterflies. Goofed with Tiff. Found out Blob was coming down. Got to talk to Foo. Slept soundly. Had good dream. Wig, ask me about it. :)

Date: 2001-08-18 10:17 am (UTC)When I was visiting the parentals last October, Jenn Cox (Kahlua's wife) had gotten a chance to buy Ani tickets (for the Orpheum) before they went on sale, and she offered me a chance to buy one.
For $20, I spent my near-birthday like 3 rows back, watching Ani stomp and sweat and be amazingly cool. Drool-inducing. It was one of the greatest concert experiences of my life.
I can relate. I also got really good company, though I would have gladly gone alone.
